I’m Rhonda. I enjoy creating. I make handmade cards and paper art as well as digitally designed cards, invitations and files like .png, .pdf and .svg.

I moved to Middle Tennessee in August of 2000 from Arizona. I worked 10 years in Nashville’s sports and entertainment industry, primarily with ticketing & operations management including financial reporting, marketing, customer service and branding. In 2005, I rediscovered paper crafting and stamping (which I had enjoyed in the 1990s) but this time I was also doing digital design. Eventually, after I left the event industry, I designed and manufactured stickers for the paper crafting community (under my business named Scrapbookaloo). I created commissioned works and soon discovered a zeal for card-making and creating small, detailed, hand-pieced images. I design the art used in both my physical creations and other digital compilations but of course I love so many of my purchased tools and artwork created by others that I use them in my work as well.

Making and giving custom greeting cards thrills me.  I think it feeds my desire to make others happy – sometimes it’s a serious flaw (like when I stay up way too late working on something) but I prefer to see it as a strength that helps me create all the details loved in my art.  Over the years, I’ve created custom thank you and Christmas cards for small business clients while showcasing my handmade cards in local boutiques and selling to individuals for birthdays, Mother’s day, etc.  Each card is personally made by me.

In addition to cards and scrapbooks, a simple request by a friend grew into my “house cards” which make wonderful, one-of-a-kind gifts for special friends and clients.
